As US Fertility and Ovation Fertility’s Chief Development Officer, Marty McGuirk oversees the mergers and acquisitions team as they identify and execute opportunities to expand US Fertility and Ovation’s nationwide network of fertility practices and IVF, andrology and genetics laboratories. With nearly 20 years of experience in corporate development and healthcare, Marty leads all aspects of mergers and acquisitions from transaction evaluation and negotiations to due diligence.  This team supports the mission of US Fertility and Ovation by positioning the combined platform for continued growth and expansion and thereby improving patient access, experience, and outcomes.

Before joining Ovation in 2022 and taking on the CDO role within US Fertility in May 2023, Marty worked as the vice president of corporate development for National Veterinary Associates. There, he led a team focused on strategic and specialty veterinary practice acquisitions across the United States. Prior to that role, he worked for DaVita Healthcare Partners as a vice president of corporate development, handling strategy development and growth activities for a $2 billion region operating in 16 states.

Earlier in his career, Marty served as the vice president of strategy and corporate development (West U.S. and Latin America) for Lafarge, a multinational mining and manufacturing corporation. This role provided him with experience in strategic planning and all phases of mergers and acquisitions on both a national and international scale.

Marty earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors in politics from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. He later attended the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville to earn his Master of Business Administration.
